Boathouse Capital’s Community Dental Partners Adds Ambrose Pediatric Dentistry, Expands to Georgia
Community Dental Partners (CDP), a leading dental support organization (DSO) and a portfolio company of Boathouse Capital, is pleased announce that it has affiliated with Ambrose Pediatric Dentistry, a leading provider of dentistry for children in Georgia.
Founded in 2011 by Drs. John & Valerie Ambrose, APD operates 5 locations throughout middle Georgia. Community Dental Partners and Ambrose Pediatric Dentistry share a common mission centered around commitment to bringing high-quality dentistry to underserved communities and a culture of elevating clinician development and patient experience. The affiliation with Ambrose marks Community Dental Partner’s entry into a third state and builds upon the more than 70 dental offices already CDP supports in Texas and Indiana.
Emmet Scott, co-founder and CEO of Community Dental Partners, said children’s dental care can be difficult to find – especially in the rural parts of Georgia. “Dr. John Ambrose and Dr. Valerie Ambrose have filled the need for pediatric dentistry throughout Georgia. We are revolutionizing dental care for the underserved patient by supporting entrepreneurial partners to create amazing doctors, staff, and patient experience.”
Andrew Olsen, Partner at Boathouse Capital Partner, commented, “Boathouse is excited to support CDP in its affiliation with Ambrose Pediatric Dentistry. Community Dental Partners has experienced tremendous growth over the last year, including four partnerships covering two new states as well as numerous de novo locations.”
Dr. Craig Copeland, Chief Dental Officer of Community Dental Partners, said “I am pleased and excited to help and support Dr. John Ambrose and Dr. Valerie Ambrose on their vision of creating an amazing patient experience to the underserved throughout all of Georgia.”
Dr. John Ambrose, co-founder and CEO of Ambrose Pediatric Dentistry, said “As a pediatric dentist who has been expanding care in Georgia for the last 11 years, I am so excited to have CDP’s compliance, marketing, billing, and other non-clinical support. This partnership will allow me to fulfill my vision of serving more patients throughout Georgia,” Dr. Ambrose said.
